this hotel is well located but the only problem is that the hotel in general is dirty. I think that they don't know how to clean a room and a bathroom.

my friend and i stayed in Mystic Hotel from May, 7 till May,11th. Mystic is a causy family hotel in the very old center of Istanbul, 5 min walking distance to Blue Mosque, Aya Sofia and Bosporus. The rooms are not big, but with sea views and all necessary equipment. I strongly recommend Mystic to those looking for a comfortable stay, pleasant and friendly atmosphere. With best wishes for the owner of the hotel and members of his family who were always ready to help.

A good hotel, with a nice family running it and always willing to help you and answer al your questions. It is located directly in the old city center, just a couple of minutes away from the Blue Mosque and the Aya Sofya. The rooms are big and clean. I definitely want to recommend it to others. One small point of improvement though: although the breakfast was good, sometimes we had to wait for bread and other things to be supplied / the bread basket was empty.

Traveling with a friend this was a great place to stay to enjoy the old city and sultanahmet areas of Istanbul. We stayed fýve days in the Vuslat and Hattuþaþ rooms. The Vuslat room was very nice with a view of the Maramara Sea.
The owners are welcoming people and happy to gýve travelýng tips,dýrectýons and ideas of things to do in the city. Breakfast was included with the room which was also nice.
We would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Istanbul.

the hotel was small and very simple but in heart of heart of istanbul, 2-3 mins to blue mosque and hadja sophia. very close to tram station. the rooms were small the bathroom also the view to sea is not that clear but no need for it because istanbul is so nice and no time to spend in room except for sleeping.

small friendly family hotel. smal rooms with shower and toilet and room cleaned daily and towls placed daily. breakfast is daily but a typical healthy breakfast. i was in the seaview room and it was a lovely sight. taxis do struggle to find this hotel, but if you say you want to go to the blue mosque, which is about 3 mins walk, its easy to walk, even as a women on her own, its very safe.
hotel manager is helpful about local tours and shopping with a free map.

Mystic hotel is very convenient to the major sights of Istanbul, and Oktay (the owner) is very helpful and knowledgeable regarding times, places and transport arrangment. The included breakfsat is a good standard Turkish breakfast served on a terrace overlooking the Sea of Mamara. The front rooms which overlook the sea are very small, but the back rooms are large and more comfortable. Oktay has beer cheaper than anywhere else except the supermarkets!. A good value.

Mystic hotel was a great experience and not the least for the warmth and hospitality of the Oktay and his family. They made the difference in providing helpful hints that made our stay in Istanbul wonderful. Beyza his little daughter is a delightful creature and our thanks to her as well. The central location of the hotel is an added boon. It would help to have a tea/coffee maker in the room.

Great hotel for travelers on a limited budget. Clean rooms with basic amenities. Quiet location with view of the sea which, although close to the Blue Mosque, is not easy to find the first time; we should have accepted the offer of airport pickup. Mr. & Mrs. Oktay and their children made us feel we were with family. I highly recommend.

Nice new Hotel in former family house with spacy rooms, with nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Only when I was there in februari the heating was put too low so it was cold in the hotel, breakfast could be some better, but the potential is there.
