I rented a 2 bed apartment and I left feeling happy about my stay. The rooms were clean, the furniture was nice and was located in very close proximity to most places like Blue Mosque, Tokapi Palace etc. Nice areas to eat around, the tram station is also very close. Inshort it was a good stay. Just that the hotel does not accept credit card and despite the fact that there is option of paying by card or cash on Istanbul hotel website, the hotel will only accept cash. But the overall expericne will be nice. I would recommend it --- 8/10.

Very good apart hotel; the manager is very kind and speaks good Englisch. Very clean, good beds and a hot shower. It is situated in the direct neighbourhood of the highlights of Istanbul. It was not easy to find the address, but with a taxi you will find it for the first time. Nice small shops to buy your breakfast. We can recommend it!

Emirhan Inn apartments turned out to be exactly as shown in the pictures on the net. Nothing more, nothing less. We stayed for 6 nights (May 06-13) and our stay was a pleasant one.
Our apartment was around 8 min walk from Blue mosque (5 min of of which was very steep walk).
We had booked the twin room apartment capable of accomodating 2 adults & 2 children. There was one double bed and two single beds.
The apartment was on 1st floor and the stairs were tight spiral type without an inside security handle bar.
We should have noted but we forgot that since its an apartment, there is no room service or breakfast option. They have a restaurant close by (5 min of steep walk) which offers breakfast on roof top for 3 Euro per person. The breakfast is ok. If you are into healthy eating, you would have to look elsewhere.
The apartment was clean, bedding, linen etc. was acceptably clean.
The crockery & cutlery in kitchen requires improvement, both in quality & quantity. There is no microwave, clothes iron etc.
LCD TVs are probably 19" screen size but then again you don't visit the place for watching TV indoors. Only 3 english channels, CNN, BBC & CNBC.
The bathroom was nice & clean. It lacked an exhaust fan.
There was a nice small balcony also.
Some small grocery stores were within 1 minute walk of our apartment.
Overall, we had a nice time and would recommend it to anyone.
Some suggestions based on our stay:
1. Take your own stock of healthy eating options.
2. Don't book or pay for your entire stay. Pay for 1-2 days and shop around when you are there. There are many hotels in the vicinity and with cash in hand, you can get very good deals, much better than internet.
3. Baby/children strollers are a must, otherwise you will have to carry your children as soon they will be tired due to so much hiking.
4. The best time (weather wise) to visit Istanbul is May 01-10.
