although the site said , the payment will be at the end, but the reception will not deliver the room to me till they get the whole money.

Not 5 stars. Non-smoking rooms stunk of previous smoke, complained and didn't even get a sorry. Not happy with overall customer service. Got the impression it was more for Turkish nationals then international multicultural guests.

Our 3 night stay at the hotel was very pleasant. The stuff was very accommodating. The facilities were superb.We would rather see a lower price for daily breakfast (15 euro). We would definately stay again in our next trip to Istanbul.

Overall,...Elite World .hotel is reallly fabulous - we loved it!!!!..At the midst of Taksim near the Taksim Square. everything is accessible.
It has somewhat a complete facilities we were looking for. Rooms are clean and tidy all the time.
What I do not like??..When I called for a snack order in swimming pool somewhere in afternoon of 5th or 6th March 2011?.. the operator took our order and she lied about alledgedly not taking our order (according to the waiter). So I place the order again....To me, she shouldn't lie, I could understand if she feel sorry and if they are busy. But being ignored is something else. Because being honest would be the BEST AND VERY IMPORTANT in a service business (or rather in everything).. We were very hungry that time and if i didn't follow-up our food they will not come. It took about more than an hour for two sets of snack (burger) to reach us? I am mentioning this for improvement please take it constructively. All goodness of the hotel should not be compromised with such bad services. Well we intend that employee to improve and should be forgiven by the boss :-)
Otherwise, everything is really perfect with this hotel...I do love to stay again next time and i would definitely recommend this hotel to other tourists. I am a frequent travelller and Istanbul is one of the best cities i prefer.
My special thanx to all staff,Derya (who helped me for the shipment of my cargo), Murat, Hilmi (i think?), the boy who carried our luggages (inward and outward) and the cleaners who are always smiling at us even i forgot my tips sometimes?? :-)

I have to go to Istanbul off and on. When ever I go to Istanbul, I always stay at the 'ELITE WORLD ISTANBUL HOTEL'. There are many good reasons for this. The hotel is well located. The rates are very reasonable. The service is good and the staff is very co-operative and helpful whether it is working at the front desk or at the conceirge counter which is placed close to the Walk Through Gate where a lady of the security section is also posted. She keeps a vigilant eye on all visitors who enter the hotel. The security arrangements are also OK. However the hotel management may consider increasing the number of security personnel in consultation of course with the Incharge Security of the Hotel.

I stayed in this hotel for the second time. First time I stayed here on my return from Antalya where I had gone to attend the conference of the International Police Association in October 2009.
My current stayed was a bit long from 1.7.2010 to 14.7.2010. But I found my stay here very comfortable mainly due to the location of the hotel. The staff was also very helpful and cooperative. I especially found Mr. SELCUK at the front desk whom I encountered on the very first day very helpful and agile. I had some problem with the lock of the main door of my room, but when I referred the matter to Mr. SELCUK he cooperated very well and with the help of the Security Staff he got my lock replaced in about an hour's time. Whenever I visit Istanbul again, I would surely like to stay in this hotel. I rank this hotel very high, be its location or service or rates.

Good quality hotel, with a lot of facilities, perfectly located with a very helpful staff. Has beautiful restuarant with lovely food. The room (1722) was good in size, very comfortable, with nice bathroom and good accomodations. I would definatelly recommend this hotel and come back to it again.

We had a lovely time at the Elite World fantastic location excellant room beautiful restuarant only complaint would ne the room view we were on the six floor and the view was not great. Facilities were very good would definatly returm to Elite World and would recommend this hotel.

The hotel was wonderful, was one from the best things i have enjoyed in istanbul me an my wife, and one from the best hotels i have ever stayed in...

We were absolutely satisfied with the hotel: the room was comfortable, the bathroom is excelent. I used the fitness day by day. (The tools are modern and the assortment is rich.) The staff is polite and ready. If I return to Istanbul I will choose this hotel again. Congratulation!

This hotel is very nice place to stay, clean, good location, friendy and lovely staff, especially handsome and beautiful receptionists. Worth for money 99 Euro per night. I would love to stay there again, if I have a chance back to Istanbul and the room rate is still the same or lower. hahahahah

the accomodations were great. The room was very comfortable. The hotel was in an area of other hotels and was conveniently located to major areas of interest. The hotel was very clean and the staff were most helpful. Great place!

The visit was good and the rooms looks fine with good srvice, however when we arrived myself & Dr. Mohamed El Abbadi they charged the total amount of each room plus TL 100 per night for extras whicj is unusual an not acceptable. I understand that it was adjusted by the end of the visit but that was the first time for me to notice such action from International hotels.
However
The location was very good and near shopping and walking entertainment places.

We really enjoyed our stay at hotel Elite World.
The staff were courteous and professional.
Our room was not big, but not small either. The Decor was clean, modern and stylish. The bed was very comfortable. Nice bathroom etc.
Breakfast was very good , with a large choice of hot and cold food. Everything you would expect.
Hotel Elite World is an excellent hotel located within walking distance of most of Istanbul attractions.

The hotel is very new, it is very clean. We were particularly happy with the quality of the bed and the bedding.
The breakfasts were on a bright and airey floor, all of the food was fresh and delicious. Of particular note was the honey comb, well recommended.
The hotel is in Taksim Square, it is well serviced by the tram system, which is cheap and efficiently takes you to the Golden Horn to see the sights. The quality of the hotel is considered to be superior to the ones we visited on the Golden Horn and we were pleased with the choice.
