I highly recommend this boutique hotel. We had the best service of anywhere where we stayed in Europe, the best breakfast and the staff were extremely helpful, courteous, interesting and fun. Not only was the food and service amazing, the hotel is located minutes away from the Blue Mosque and Sophia Hagia, just a short walk through charming streets with beautiful shops. I cannot wait to go back to Istanbul and I will stay at Adoba Hotel again., the very best value for dollar. The staff at Adora made my stay in Istanbul unforgettable and I cannot thank the staff enough.

Room: The beds were comfortable although the room was small. Initially we were put in a room with a King size bed and a twin. On Friday, we were asked to switch rooms because we weren't using the twin bed. We ended up with an even smaller room and by small I mean there was only maybe 3 feet around the perimeter of the bed. We could only fit our luggage one way on the floor although the closet helped alleviate storage problems some. Also, there were no dressers in the room. The AC in our first room failed but this happened just before we switched rooms. Also, the power in the room is only on while you are in the room. This is accomplished by requiring your room key (you only get one) to be stored in a device on the wall for the electricity to come on. Also, the shower in the first room we went too didn't stay up so I was forced to find something to prop it up. The rooms were clean and had satellite TV which I barely watched given I wanted to see the sights in Istanbul. Overall: I give the room(s) a 5 out of 10.
Service: The staff at the hotel was good and provided service with a smile. They helped us to find transportation and helped me by providing an adapter for me to charge my laptop in the European style plugs. I have to dock them a few points for not explaining how the electricity worked and being short staffed during breakfast. I give them a 7 out of 10.
Breakfast was decent although I got tired of the cold cuts and white break. The juice, jam, figs, and cereal were to my liking though. I give it a 6 out of 10.
Location: The location is great in that you are right next door to the Archaelogical museum and the Topkapi palace. Other sites in Sultanhemet and the bazzar quarter are within walking distance and a tram to take you to Beyoglu is right down the street. The area around Adora is congested though and our drivers could not turn onto the street where Adora was due to the congestion. Due to the nature of one-way streets surrounding the area it is also hard to drive to. Most drivers aren't familiar with the location so make sure you have the Adora hotel card which has a map with the location of the hotel. Still, location was great so I give this an 8 out of 10.
Overall, a 5.5 out of 10.

I stayed at the Adora Hotel in the first week of june with my family. The staff is extremely friendly, they made us feel at home. Everyday we were spending a lot of time in the lobby, talking to them and enjoying the turkish tea. They helped us with all kinds of informations. The breakfast is good and the rooms are very clean. The location is great! We are planning to go back to Istanbul next year and we definetely will stay at the Adora Hotel again.

The Adora is a great value choice when visiting Istanbul. The rooms were very clean and the staff were extremely helpful and went out of their way to make us feel welcome and provide us with information about day trips, etc. The breakfast was great and very varied including lots of options for vegetarians which were much appreciated! Thanks for making our stay in Istanbul a great time.

I have stayed in many hotels, in many cities and have yet to find one as clean/friendly/efficient and overall "bloody good!!". Friendliness at reception was the same for the whole of my stay (3 NIGHTS), rooms were excellent and spacious, sufficient to be able to move, without knocking your drink over from the mini-bar! Internet friendly. Cleanliness was second to none. Dressing gown and disposable slippers were changed daily. The breakfast bar was more than suffcient, with the breakfast waiter willing to give you a good shoulder massge as and when you had finished. I don't have shares in the hotel, but well worth the visit, believe me. John from Glasgow, Scotland.

I was most surprised and very pleased with the quality that I found for such a reasonable price, and with the attention to detail afforded my stay by the entire staff, from the manager to the waiter/doorman. I have already recommended the Adora Hotel to friends and will stay there again when in Istanbul.
