My stay at Al Mina Hotel was enjoyable. The staff were nice and the breakfast was delicious. Moreover, the location is perfect! The blue masjid and the sea are within a walking distance. I thank people who wrote previous reviews for writing about the terrace. The tram passes right next to the hotel which makes the noise a bit of a problem!

Good ponts - Very friendly and helpful staff. NIce breakfast, and rooftop terrace bar. Great location near the blue Mosque.

We were exceptionally pleased with this hotel. Very clean, excellent buffet breakfast, exceptional beds, noise minimal from the train, although our room was on the other side. Don't miss the terrace. Front desk staff knowledgeable and all staff willing to help with the smallest details. We are returning here to complete our month in Turkey.

We had a fantastic stay at the Almina. Great location, close to all the amazing sights in the old town. The hotel is very clean, with all the facilities you would expect or need. We stayed in a room with a double bed and a single, the room was well layed out and very spacious. The room has airconditoner which was needed during our time. The only downside was our room backed onto the train line that runs right next to it. The trains were very regular and didn't finish until late however I never heard them once I went to bed.
The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. However the best part of our stay was the friendly and helpful staff, they made you feel like you were a regular!
Great hotel, would definitely recommend to any travellers.

Really enjoyed our stay at the Almina Hotel. The hotel is situated really close to all the tourist attractions in the Sultanahmet area and we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. The staff was very helpful and friendly and catered to all our needs. The room was very good although situated on the ground floor next to the street it was quite noisy at times together with the trains passing by on the other side of the building - did however not have a problem to sleep.

Lovely boutique hotel 'Turkish style' right near the Blue Mosqe. On a slightly noisy road but the friendliness of the staff more than made up for it. When being woken at 5am by call to prayer a few trains and cars along side the hotel are easily ignored.

Very nice small hotel close to the Blue Mosque. We were very happy with the service provided and enjoyed breakfast on the roof terrace. Our only complaint was the size of the room (v. small for two plus suitcases!)

A very pleasant hotel in a great location for the old town of Istanbul. Small shame about there being no bar and being next to a railway line, but neither dampened our enjoyment of a lovely stay. All staff were very friendly and spoke far more English than we could speak Turkish!

Terrific deal! We arrived early and very tired and they worked to help accommodate us. Our room was clean and comfortable. The roof terrace was excellent. On the last day when we had to leave early, they even made us breakfast before the normal time. We were very happy.

Well placed hotel in walking distance of all the major sights. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were very friendly and willing to help with any problems. The breakfast was excellent and could be taken on the roof terrace with spectacular views down to the sea. The only problem we experienced was that due to staying on the ground floor backing on to the street our room was quite noisy. But overall a very nice hotel that I would recommend.

The entire staff at the hotel were quite helpful and professional. We had lost baggage from the airlines after our arrival into Istanbul and the staff helped many times in talking with the Turkish Air representatives. The room was great and quite comfortable...much more than I expected. The breakfast was a feast.
The neighborhood is a little noisy, but all we had to do was close the window.

Great hotel, great deal. Very friendly staff, the hotel is brand new and very clean. Amazing breakfast and the turkish bath in the basement is awesome. By far the best hotel experience that we had had in Turkey!

Had an excellent few days staying at this brand new hotel. Very comfortable, very useful location and friendly staff.
I had been concerned on my arrival by the railway line just behind the hotel, but this really is not a problem and i was barely aware of it throughout my time.
Thoroughly recommended
